Privacy Policy

AskXuan respects your privacy. We collect only what is needed to provide BaZi, Liuyao, Zi Wei, Qimen, timing, and AI conversation features, and we try to minimize data retention.

1 · Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the AskXuan website, iOS app, and related services operated by Exfinix Limited. By using AskXuan, you understand that we process information as described here.

If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using AskXuan or contact us using the details below.

2 · Managing Your Privacy Choices

You can access this Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, account deletion instructions, support, and subscription management from the AskXuan app under Me -> Settings -> Legal & Support.

You can revoke system permissions, turn off notifications, delete history, stop using AI-related features, or contact admin@askxuan.top to access, correct, delete, copy, or export your personal information. Account deletion requests use the same email address.

3 · Information We Collect and Why

Account and sign-in information, such as nickname, email address, Apple ID-related identifier, login credentials, subscription status, and account preferences. We use this information to create accounts, keep you signed in, sync records, restore purchases, and protect account security. If you do not provide required account information, you may not be able to sign in, sync, or use membership features, but you can still view public website pages.

Birth and chart information, such as date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, gender, time zone, calendar conversion results, and generated BaZi, Zi Wei, Liuyao, Qimen, or other personal readings. We use this information to calculate charts, generate reports, provide daily timing, and support follow-up questions. If you do not provide or delete this information, related readings may not be available or may be less accurate, but you can still view public pages and contact support.

Questions, AI conversations, and history, such as questions you enter, context you add, session context, AI outputs, conversation topics, favorites, notes, feedback, and error reports. User-entered text, questions, chart information, and conversation content may be used to generate AI replies, readings, and reports. We use this information to generate responses, maintain conversation continuity, let you review history, improve service quality, and handle feedback. This is for app functionality, not advertising tracking or cross-app tracking. If you do not enter this content, we cannot provide the related response; you may delete individual history items or stop using AI-related features.

Support and request information, such as emails you send us, issue descriptions, screenshots, order clues, contact details, and identity verification materials. We use this information to reply to support requests, handle privacy rights, account deletion, subscription issues, and safety disputes. If you do not provide enough information to verify the request, we may not be able to confirm account ownership or complete it.

App Store transaction information. App Store purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full card number or payment password, but may receive subscription type, purchased item, Apple transaction ID or order number, transaction time, amount, currency, order status, expiration date, refund status, and purchase restoration result. We use this information only to confirm subscriptions, restore purchases, provide support, reconcile accounting, and prevent fraud.

Device, log, and basic usage data, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, access time, page or feature usage, IP address, and approximate network location. If we enable crash or performance diagnostic tools, we may also process crash logs and performance logs. We use this information to keep AskXuan stable, debug issues, improve experience, and prevent abuse, attacks, and fraud. Without necessary logs, we may not be able to maintain service safety and stability.

Permission-related information. If you enable notifications, or if a future feature requires photos, location, or other system permissions, we use those permissions only for the relevant feature and only after system authorization. Birthplace can be entered manually; unless you expressly allow it, we do not continuously track your precise real-time location. You can revoke permissions in system settings. The related feature may stop working, but other features that do not rely on that permission should remain available.

IDFA and tracking. AskXuan currently does not collect Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for cross-app advertising tracking. If we use advertising identifiers in the future, we will first request your explicit authorization through iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT), and you may revoke it in system settings.

Website cookies and local storage. When you visit askxuan.ai, the website may use necessary cookies, font services, hosting services, and basic analytics to display pages, maintain security, and improve performance. You may limit cookies in your browser settings, but some page experiences may be affected.

4 · AI Processing and Profiling

AskXuan readings may be generated by AI models based on your birth information, chart information, user-entered text, questions, conversation content, session context, and traditional metaphysical rules. We use this processing to provide AI replies, readings, summaries, and personal reports. Outputs are for entertainment, learning, personal reference, and self-reflection only, and are not medical, mental health, legal, investment, financial, or other professional advice.

We do not use AskXuan's automated analysis to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. You may delete chats, edit your profile, stop using personalized features, or turn off AI-related features where the app provides the relevant setting.

When you use AI-related features, we may transmit only what is needed to provide the feature to third-party AI model providers or cloud service providers. The third parties that currently receive and process AI request data are DeepSeek (the primary model service) and Google (the fallback model service through Vertex AI). The transmitted data may include text you actively enter, questions, conversation content, session context, feature type, anonymous request identifiers, device language, region settings, and the chart, divination, or report context needed to generate the current AI reply or report.

Third-party AI model providers, cloud service providers, or processing regions may change for availability, stability, security, cost, or compliance reasons, and they may be outside your country or region. If a provider or cloud infrastructure is overseas, cross-border or international processing may occur. Wherever a provider is located, we only transmit the information necessary to complete the current request. If the app needs you to confirm a new AI processing authorization, we will ask before use.

Unless you actively include it in your input, we do not intentionally transmit your name, email address, phone number, payment information, account password, precise real-time location, IDFA, or other device tracking identifiers to AI model providers.

We do not use your AskXuan conversation content to train our own AI models unless we separately disclose that practice and obtain any consent required by applicable law. When third-party AI providers process API request data, their retention, model training, and security commitments are governed by their own policies, terms, and contracts with us. We transmit data on a minimum-necessary basis and use service terms, data-processing terms, and vendor review to require DeepSeek and Google to provide the shared data with the same or equivalent privacy and security protection required by this policy and applicable law.

5 · Third-Party Services and SDKs

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-app or cross-site targeted advertising. To provide AskXuan, we may allow service providers to process necessary information on our behalf, including cloud service providers, third-party AI model providers, payment, support, security, and diagnostic services. They may process information only as instructed and should protect it under confidentiality and security obligations.

We may disclose or transfer information if required by law, court order, regulatory inquiry, user safety, protection of AskXuan's rights, or a merger, acquisition, asset transfer, financing, or restructuring. If you intentionally share reports, screenshots, links, or content to third-party platforms, that information is governed by the third party's own privacy policy.

6 · Storage, Retention, and Deletion

AskXuan primarily stores and processes personal information through cloud service providers on a minimum-necessary basis. We do not promise a fixed storage region that has not been confirmed in this policy. Depending on service delivery, AI processing, security, support, or backup needs, some information may be processed outside your country or region.

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Retention periods depend on account status, feature needs, legal obligations, accounting reconciliation, security audits, disputes, risk control, and backup cycles.

You may delete individual chats, reports, or history inside the app. After account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your birth data, chart data, question history, AI chats, period reports, favorites, notes, account preferences, and login credentials within a reasonable period.

We may retain minimal transaction records, security logs, processing records, or anonymized statistics where necessary for legal, accounting, tax, dispute, security, or anti-fraud reasons. Residual backup copies are not removed immediately, but are deleted during regular backup rotation.

If you cannot sign in, email admin@askxuan.top to request account deletion. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

7 · Your Choices and Rights

Access and copy. You can view account information, birth information, history, and some reports inside the app. To access or copy other personal information, contact admin@askxuan.top.

Export and portability. Where applicable law allows, you may request export or transfer of personal information we process. We will provide a reasonable method after identity verification and where technically feasible.

Correction and completion. If your nickname, birth information, time zone, question history, or other personal information is wrong, you may edit it in the app or contact admin@askxuan.top for help.

Deletion and account closure. You may delete individual history items, reports, or favorites, and you may close your account according to the account deletion page. Account deletion is irreversible; once completed, we stop providing service for that account and delete or anonymize related personal information as described in this policy.

Consent withdrawal and feature controls. You can revoke notifications or other system permissions you have authorized in system settings. You can also stop using AI-related features or turn off the relevant feature where the app provides the setting. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out based on your prior authorization.

Explanation and complaints. If you want an explanation of our personal information processing rules or believe our handling is improper, contact admin@askxuan.top. Account deletion requests use the same email address.

Response rules. After verifying your identity, we usually respond to reasonable requests within 15 days. If a request is complex, repetitive, or legally eligible for an extension, we will explain the reason.

We may be unable to fully respond where a request is clearly repetitive or abusive, technically disproportionate, harmful to others' lawful rights, involves trade secrets, or conflicts with necessary retention for legal compliance, accounting, tax, dispute handling, security audits, or anti-fraud risk control.

8 · Security and International Processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege access, logging, confidentiality requirements, and backup management. No internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure.

Cloud services, AI model providers, analytics tools, security tools, and support tools used by AskXuan may process information outside your country or region, so cross-border or international processing may occur. Where cross-border processing occurs, we aim to use reasonable safeguards such as contracts, access controls, encrypted transmission, access auditing, and vendor review.

If an AI model provider, main processing region, or AI data use materially changes in a way that may affect your authorization expectations, we will provide notice through the in-app authorization page, privacy policy updates, or another reasonable method.

If a personal information security incident may affect your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law through in-app notice, email, website announcement, or another reasonable method, including the incident status, potential impact, measures we have taken, and protective steps you may take. Where required, we will also report the incident to regulators.

9 · Children

AskXuan is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not register, submit birth information, or use AskXuan.

In mainland China and other applicable jurisdictions, personal information of children under 14 is handled under stricter child privacy rules. If you are 13 or older, or 14 or older in a jurisdiction where that threshold applies, but under 18, use AskXuan only with the consent and guidance of a parent or guardian.

If we learn that we collected children's personal information without appropriate guardian consent, we will delete or anonymize it as soon as reasonably possible. Parents or guardians may contact admin@askxuan.top with questions about a minor's information.

10 · Changes

We may update this policy as our product, law, or operations change. Material changes may be announced on the website, in the app, or by other reasonable means. The updated policy is effective from the date shown on this page.

Material changes may include significant changes to our service model, data sharing or transfer practices, public disclosure circumstances, how you exercise rights, contact channels, or material security and compliance risks involving personal information.

If you do not agree with the updated policy, you may stop using AskXuan and request account deletion according to this policy or the account deletion page.
